THE PROJECTGraphics stimulus
"I am more and more convinced that garages are urban spaces that have not been paid much attention. It fascinates me how a place where functionality is the base can simultaneously appeal to the emotional side of the individual". As she explains, her greatest source of inspiration was Paul Éluard’s poem Freedom, which takes up the entire façade of the Hotel Puerta América. A simple iconographic code on the walls leads guests through the garage. The motifs are a finger pointing to the exit, people running with a dog or a disabled person in a wheelchair, made by mixing the words of the poem by Éluard. |
